Chengdu Public Transport Accepts Payment with Intl Bank Cards成都实现境外银行卡“直刷”乘车啦

To further improve travel experience 

for international tourists to Chengdu, 

Chengdu Public Transport has recently 

launched a system on metro, trams and 

buses that supports payments with 

overseas bank cards including UnionPay, 

Visa, Mastercard and American Express, 

a move that helps overseas tourists 

experience safe, fast and efficient travel 

around the city. 

为进一步提升境外游客在蓉旅游出行体验，日前，成都公共交通上线境外银行卡直接刷卡乘车功能。境外游客可持境外发行的银联、维萨（Visa）、万事达（Mastercard）、美国运通（American Express）银行卡等直接刷卡乘坐成都地铁、有轨电车、城市公交线路，获得更安全、便捷、高效的出行体验。

Hold your card near the sensor area on 

the metro gate, tram, or city bus card 

reader. When you hear a beep, it means 

the payment was successful — no 

password is required.

将境外银行卡贴近轨道交通车站闸机或有轨电车、城市公交刷卡机的感应区，听到提示音即表示刷卡成功，不需要输密码。

When using overseas bank cards for 

payment, fares are charged based on 

Chengdu's current public transport 

pricing standards.

使用境外银行卡乘车支付，票价按成都市公共交通现行基础票价收取。

Overseas bank cards can be used directly 

to tap in and out at all metro and tram 

stations in Chengdu. They can also be 

used to purchase single-journey tickets 

at metro ticket vending machines and 

day passes at day pass vending machines. 

使用境外银行卡可在成都轨道交通所有地铁车站和有轨电车直接刷卡乘车，同时还可以在地铁自动售票机购买单程票、在地铁日次票售卖机购买日票。

Bilingual services双语服务很贴心

Apart from the convenient payment 

model, bilingual stop announcement 

(Chinese & English) is available on 

buses in Chengdu; bilingual information 

display is available on shuttle buses to 

airports in Chengdu.

除支付方式的便利化以外，成都公交已普遍实现车辆双语报站，已对机场公交专线导视标识及引导信息作双语呈现。

All the metro stations in Chengdu are 

covered with bilingual broadcasting and 

information displays, while bilingual 

announcement on trains running on 

metro lines is available. Translating 

machines capable of instantly 

interpreting over 10 foreign languages 

have been set up at 423 metro stations. 

Some key stations at traffic hubs and 

scenic spots are staffed with volunteers 

speaking Chinese and English.

成都地铁全线网配备了中英文导向标识指引，所有列车及车站实现双语广播全覆盖；423座车站配置了多语种翻译机，能实时翻译10余种外语；在部分重点枢纽车站、景点车站，还设有双语志愿服务岗。

小提示

Overseas bank cards eligible for the 

payment services: they must bear the 

institutional identity of UnionPay, VISA, 

MasterCard or American Express; they 

must be the chip cards; they are capable 

of Quick Pass. 

Please ensure that your bank card has 

the small-amount no-PIN payment 

feature enabled and that there is 

sufficient balance or credit available.

支持直接刷卡乘车的境外银行卡需满足三大条件：

一是带有银联、VISA、MasterCard、American Express四种国际组织标识；二是须为芯片卡；三是具备闪付功能。

需要注意的是，银行卡需要提前开通小额免密支付功能，同时确保卡内有充足余额或信用额度。
