Development Bank in Shanghai and 

met with President of the New 

Development Bank (NDB) Dilma 

Rousseff.

President Xi Jinping pointed out 

that the NDB is the world's first 

multilateral development institution 

established and led by emerging 

markets and developing countries.

Global South to seek strength 

through unity, conforms to the 

historical trend of reforming and 

improving global governance and 

has grown into an emerging force in 

the international financial system 

and a signature platform for 

cooperation in the Global South. 

He stressed that greater BRICS 

cooperation has entered a stage of 

high-quality development, and the 

NDB is set to embark on its second 

golden decade of high-quality 

development.

习近平指出，新开发银行是首个由新兴市场国家和发展中国家创立并主导的多边开发机构，是全球南方联合自强的创举，顺应了改革和完善全球治理的历史潮流，成长为国际金融体系中新兴力量和全球南方合作的金字招牌。他强调，“大金砖合作”已经迈入高质量发展阶段，新开发银行也要开启高质量发展的第二个“金色十年”。

On April 28, Chengdu Tianfu – 

Paris (France) direct route operated 

by Air China resumed services. 

Chengdu has established a direct 

cargo route to Paris in 2024. With 

the reinstatement of the passenger 

flight route, Chengdu and Paris are 

now connected by both passenger 

and cargo routes, significantly 

enhancing international cultural 

exchanges, cooperation in economy 

and trade, and other aspects. As of 

April 28, Chengdu operates 54 

scheduled direct international and 

regional passenger flight routes, 

ranking first among cities in central 

and western China.

4月28日，国航成都天府至巴黎航线正式复航。成都已于2024年开通直飞巴黎的全货机航线，在这次客运航线开通后，成都与巴黎之间将形成客货运航线齐飞格局，为国际人文交流、经贸合作等提供有力支撑。截至4月28日，成都在飞的国际及地区定期直飞客运航线数量为54条，数量位列我国中西部城市第1位。
