One month later, the Foreign Affairs 

Office of Wenjiang started on another 

"journey", organizing training for a 

specific group of volunteers on 

international reception at the Volleyball 

Center of Sichuan Vocational and 

Technical College of Communications.

事隔1个月，温江外事再“出发”，一场面向部分大运志愿者的涉外培训在交职院排球中心举办。

As the volunteers serve as 

representatives of the city during the 

Chengdu 2021 FISU World University 

Games, it is an important task to 

improve the capabilities of the 

volunteer team in reception and 

hospitality, thus showcasing the good 

international image of Wenjiang.

大运志愿者作为大运期间城市的一道靓丽风景线，提升志愿者队伍的外事营城水平，是展现温江良好国际化形象的重要工作。

What are the basic regional conditions 

of Wenjiang? How do we introduce the 

notion of "Wenjiang, a City of Beauty 

and Happiness"? For volunteers at the 

Chengdu 2021 FISU World University 

Games, learning and grasping the basic 

information and some proprietary 

vocabularies of Wenjiang will be 

conducive to better promoting and 

displaying Wenjiang during the Games.

温江的基本区情有哪些？“幸福温江·美好之城”英语应该怎么表达？对于大运志愿者，熟悉和掌握城市的基本情况和部分专有词汇，将利于赛期更好的推介和展示温江。

General knowledge of guest reception 

at the Chengdu 2021 FISU World 

University Games, proprietary terms 

related to volleyball games, basic 

etiquette for international 

communications... The training was 

carried out in an easy-going and

diversified manner through a 

combination of lectures and interactive 

activities. During the training, various 

activities such as group discussions 

and quick Q&As were held to create an 

engaging learning atmosphere for the 

volunteers.

大运礼宾通识、涉及排球比赛的专有术语、对外交流的基本礼仪......采用轻松、多元的方式开展培训，既有互动、又穿插讲述，同时通过小组讨论、问答抢答等形式多样的活动，为志愿者们营造了良好的学习氛围。

FISU World University Games Public 

Signs was handed out to each volunteer 

present, encouraging the appropriate 

use of terms and the improvement of 

expertise in volunteering.

培训会上，还为每名志愿者发放《大运汉英公示语汇编》，鼓励大家用好大运专用术语，提升专业志愿服务水平。

At the end of the day, volunteers were 

deeply impressed and highly motivated 

by the training. They said that they 

would make good use of the time 

before the upcoming Games, continue 

to strengthen their learning of 

Wenjiang's profile, general knowledge 

of the FISU World University Games 

and professional knowledge of 

volunteering, so as to participate in 

the Chengdu 2021 FISU World 

University Games in their best states, 

showcase the youth of Wenjiang with 

the best spiritual outlook, and be an 

active promoter of the city with the 

greatest enthusiasm.

培训结束，志愿者们意犹未尽，纷纷表示将利用好最后的冲刺阶段，继续加强对温江城市概况、大运通识、专业志愿服务知识的学习，以最佳的状态参与大运、以最好的精神面貌展示温江青年、以最大的热情当好城市的推介者。
