Chengdu’s Only Downtown Duty-Free Shop Set to Launch成都唯一市内免税店即将开业

Recently, a large billboard on the exterior 

of Chengdu Yanlord Landmark has 

captured the attention of residents 

and travelers with “Chengdu’s Only 

Downtown Duty-Free Shop”, “Coming 

Soon”, and other eye-catching messages. 

The duty-free shop will open on September 

25, 2025. A dedicated area inside the mall 

has been sectioned off by fences for the 

duty-free shop, with sections already 

demarcated for trendy goods, China-chic 

cosmetics, and perfumes & cosmetics, 

among others. Promotional signage and 

display areas for some brands are already 

in place, and construction is progressing 

swiftly.

近日，成都仁恒置地广场外立面的大型广告牌引发市民与游客关注，“成都唯一市内免税店入驻”“即将开业 敬请期待”非常吸睛。该免税店将于2025年9月25日亮相。商场内部，免税店专属区域被围挡圈出，围挡内已划分出潮玩市集、国潮美妆及香水化妆品等功能区，部分品牌广告牌与陈列区装修已完工，正加紧推进后续施工。

Chengdu’s downtown duty-free shop, 

covering approximately 3,140 square 

meters adjacent to Chunxi Road 

Commercial District, will be operated by 

China Duty Free Group Co., Ltd. The shop 

will offer duty-free goods primarily to 

travelers (including but not limited to 

Chinese nationals) holding valid exit-entry 

documents within 60 days (inclusive) of 

departure via air or international cruise.

成都市内免税店将由中国免税品（集团）有限责任公司主导运营，经营面积3140平方米，紧邻春熙路商圈。该免税店主要面向持出入境有效证件即将于60日（含）内搭乘航空运输工具或国际邮轮出境的旅客（包括但不限于中国籍）售卖免税商品。

Travelers shopping at downtown duty-free 

shops should:

旅客在市内免税店购物应当符合以下要求：

1. Hold valid exit-entry documents 

and have purchased flight tickets or 

international cruise tickets for departure. 

Valid exit-entry documents include 

passports, Exit-Entry Permits for 

Travelling to and from Hong Kong and 

Macao, Travel Permits for Mainlanders to 

Enter and Exit Taiwan, Mainland Travel 

Permits for Hong Kong and Macao 

Residents, and Mainland Travel Permits 

for Taiwan Residents, among others.

（一）持出入境有效证件，并已购买出境机票或国际邮轮船票。其中出入境有效证件指护照、往来港澳通行证、往来台湾通行证、港澳居民来往内地通行证或台湾居民来往大陆通行证等。

2. Personally collect duty-free goods at 

designated collection points by presenting 

purchase receipts and valid exit-entry 

documents.

（二）由旅客本人凭购物凭证、出入境有效证件在免税商品提货点提取免税商品。

3. Shop at downtown duty-free shops 

located in the city of the intended 

departure port.

（三）在即将离境口岸所属城市的市内免税店购物。

Travelers purchasing duty-free goods at 

downtown duty-free shops are not subject 

to spending limits, but should comply 

with the customs regulation stipulating 

that inward and outward luggage carried 

by travelers should be limited to reasonable 

quantities for personal use.

旅客在市内免税店购买免税商品不设购物限额，但应当符合海关关于旅客携带行李物品进出境应当以自用、合理数量为限的规定。

Following the model of “purchases within 

the city and collection at departure ports”, 

Chengdu’s downtown duty-free shop will 

primarily sell easily portable consumer 

goods, such as food, apparel, accessories, 

luggage, shoes, and hats. While 

introducing top-tier international brands, 

the shop will actively promote domestic 

trendy products and incorporate culturally 

distinctive items with independent 

branding that contribute to spreading 

fine traditional Chinese culture into its 

business. This initiative will provide 

support for “Made in Chengdu” products 

going global and continuously enhance 

the visibility and influence of Chengdu’s 

brands in international markets.

成都市内免税店将采用“市内选购、口岸提货”模式，主要销售食品、服装服饰、箱包、鞋帽等便于携带的消费品。在引入国际一线品牌商品的同时，还将大力支持推广国货“潮品”，将具有自主品牌、有助于传播中华优秀传统文化的特色产品纳入经营范围，助力“蓉品出海”，持续提升成都品牌在国际市场的知名度与影响力。
