On the morning of July 15, 2025, 

President Xi Jinping met with 

Australian Prime Minister Anthony 

Albanese, who is on an official visit 

to China, at the Great Hall of the 

People in Beijing. Xi Jinping once 

again congratulated Anthony 

Albanese on his re-election. Xi 

Jinping noted that thanks to the 

joint efforts of both sides, China-

Australia relations have emerged 

from a low point and regained 

positive momentum, delivering real 

benefits to both peoples. The most 

important insight this gives the two 

sides is that treating each other as 

equals, seeking common ground 

while respecting differences, and 

mutually-beneficial cooperation 

serve the fundamental interests of 

both countries and peoples. No 

matter how the global landscape 

shifts, these principles should 

remain the guiding compass for 

both countries. As the China-

Australia comprehensive strategic 

partnership enters its second 

decade, China is ready to work with 

Australia to further advance their 

relations for sound development and 

bring greater benefits to the two 

peoples.

On July 15, Ma Liehong, Secretary 

of the CPC Wenjiang District 

Committee, led a team to inspect 

the integrated development of 

culture, commerce, tourism, sports, 

and health care sectors, and carried 

out the initiative of "visiting 

enterprises, addressing difficulties, 

optimizing the environment, and 

boosting development." He stressed 

the need to thoroughly implement 

the guiding principles from the 

Seventh Plenary Session of the 12th 

CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee 

and the Seventh Plenary Session of 

the 14th CPC Chengdu Municipal C

ommittee. Under the guidance, he 

called for efforts to promote 

integrated and holistic development 

of culture, commerce, tourism, 

sports, and health care sectors based 

on local conditions and build 

Wenjiang into a vibrant ecological 

zone for Chengdu's international 

consumption hub and a core area 

for the silver economy at a faster 

pace.
