On July 10, 2025, General Secretary 

of the CPC Central Committee and 

President Xi Jinping sent a 

congratulatory letter to the Global 

Civilizations Dialogue Ministerial 

Meeting. Xi Jinping emphasized that 

China is ready to work with other 

countries to uphold the vision of 

equality, mutual learning, dialogue, 

and inclusiveness between 

civilizations, act on the Global 

Civilization Initiative, promote the 

building of a global network for 

dialogue and cooperation among 

civilizations, and inject new impetus 

into the progress of human 

civilization and the peace and 

development of the world. Xi 

Jinping expressed his hope that 

participating representatives will 

engage in in-depth exchanges to 

build consensus and contribute their 

wisdom and strength to the goal of 

promoting understanding and 

friendship among peoples of 

different countries and achieving 

harmonious coexistence among 

different civilizations.

On July 7, Cao Lijun, Member of 

the Standing Committee of the CPC 

Sichuan Provincial Committee and 

Secretary of the CPC Chengdu 

Municipal Committee, visited 

Sichuan Tianfu New Area and 

Chengdu High-Tech Zone to inspect 

the preparations for The World 

Games 2025 Chengdu (TWG 2025 

Chengdu). He highlighted the 

importance of comprehensively 

studying and implementing General 

Secretary Xi Jinping’s important 

instructions and earnestly 

implementing the decisions and 

requirements of the CPC Central 

Committee, the State Council, 

pertinent national ministries and 

commissions, the CPC Sichuan 

Provincial Committee, and the 

People’s Government of Sichuan 

Province. He emphasized integrating 

the principles of hosting TWG 2025 

Chengdu in a “streamlined, safe, 

and splendid” manner, adopting a 

problem-oriented approach, and 

focusing on the identification and 

resolution of missing links. Calling
