local time, the second China-Central
Asia Summit was held in Astana.
Chinese President Xi Jinping
attended the summit and delivered
a keynote speech titled
“Championing the China-Central
Asia Spirit for High-Quality
Cooperation in the Region”. He
noted that China and Central Asian
countries should act on the China-
Central Asia Spirit, enhance
cooperation with renewed vigor and
more practical measures, promote
high-quality development of the
Belt and Road Initiative, and forge
ahead toward the goal of a
community with a shared future for
the region.

During the summit, President Xi
Jinping and the heads of state of the
five Central Asian countries signed
the Astana Declaration of the
Second China-Central Asia Summit
and a treaty on eternal good-
neighborliness, friendship and
cooperation between the People’s
Republic of China and the Republic
of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic,
the Republic of Tajikistan,
Turkmenistan, and the Republic of
Uzbekistan. The summit also
announced the signing of 12
cooperation documents regarding
the Belt and Road cooperation,
facilitation of people-to-people
exchanges, green minerals, smooth
trade, connectivity, industry,
customs, and other sectors.
峰会期间，签署了《第二届中国—中亚峰会阿斯塔纳宣言》《中华人民共和国同哈萨克斯坦共和国、吉尔吉斯共和国、塔吉克斯坦共和国、土库曼斯坦、乌兹别克斯坦共和国永久睦邻友好合作条约》，以及共建“一带一路”、人员往来便利化、绿色矿产、贸易畅通、互联互通、工业、海关等领域12份合作文件。

The main event of 2025 Invest in
Chengdu Global Investment
Promotion Conference was held in
Chengdu on June 18. Wang Xiaohui,
Secretary of the CPC Sichuan
Provincial Committee and
Chairman of the Standing
Committee of Sichuan Provincial
People’s Congress, and Shi Xiaolin,
Deputy Secretary of the CPC
Sichuan Provincial Committee
and Governor of the People’s
Government of Sichuan Province,
attended the event. Cao Lijun,
Member of the Standing Committee
of the CPC Sichuan Provincial
Committee and Secretary of the CPC
Chengdu Municipal Committee,
delivered the welcome speech.
During the event, the four cities of
Chengdu, Deyang, Meishan, and
Ziyang jointly released the
“Chengdu Metropolitan Area
Investment Guide”. Chengdu’s
multiple municipal-level
departments jointly introduced the
“Chain Leader Fund Action Plan”
and the “Invest in Chengdu Policy
Package”. A signing ceremony was
also held, securing eight major
industrial projects and eight
aerospace and “space-based
computing for space data” projects,
with a total signed investment
amount exceeding RMB 80 billion.

Chengdu’s Foreign Trade Grows
10.4% YoY in First Five Months of
2025
成都外贸进出口前5月同比增长10.4%
Latest foreign trade data released
by Chengdu Customs on June 18
shows that Sichuan’s total import
and export value reached RMB
430.52 billion in the first five
months of the year, ranking 8th
nationally and representing a 7.5%
year-on-year increase. During the
same period, Chengdu’s import and
export value exceeded RMB 350
billion, up 10.4% year-on-year,
contributing 8.3 percentage points
to Sichuan’s overall foreign trade
growth.
6月18日，成都海关发布的最新外贸数据显示，今年前5月，四川外贸进出口4305.2亿元，规模稳居全国第8位，同比增长7.5%。同期，成都实现外贸进出口超过3500亿元，同比增长10.4%，拉动同期四川外贸增长8.3个百分点。

Chengdu” Products Going
Global initiative. Aligning with
Chengdu’s industrial strengths
and market demand, the
initiative focuses on four key
lists: “Key Product Categories
and Target Markets”, “Key
Enterprises and Products”, “Key
Domestic and International
Exhibitions”, and “Key
Economic and Trade Activities”.
A multi-dimensional support
system encompassing market
expansion, export credit
insurance, and exchange rate
hedging has been established
for 14 key product categories
under this initiative, driving
locally featured “Made-in-
Chengdu” and “Produced-in-
Chengdu” products into
international markets. From
January to April, exports of
Chengdu’s self-owned brands
under these labels grew by
23.4% year-on-year. Data also
shows that foreign direct
investment (FDI) in the service
sector surged 61.6% year-on-
year in Q1 of 2025.

of the Sichuan Provincial
Agricultural Industry Development
Promotion Association and Chengdu
Wenjiang Modern Urban
Agriculture Investment and
Cooperation Promotion Event,
themed "Building and Sharing
Prosperous Parks," was held. The
event attracted several national key
leading enterprises in agricultural
industrialization, as well as
numerous leading enterprises in the
fields of agricultural product
cultivation, processing, trade, and
technology services.

Comprehensive Service Platform to
the attendees. The platform will
focus on integrating resources,
connecting key links in the
agricultural product supply chain
from production to circulation, and
establishing an efficient, convenient,
and widely accessible agricultural
product trade service system. It
aims to provide strong support for
Sichuan's agricultural products to
expand across the national market
and explore international markets.
