The exhibition of paintings by South 

Korean painter SHIN, DONG-CHUL 

will be held at the Chengyuan 

Painting and Calligraphy Art 

Museum from September 1 to 15. 

This exhibition aims to showcase the 

cultural exchanges and integration 

between China and South Korea, 

bring visual and mental enjoyment 

to the visitors, and further promote 

the cultural and artistic exchanges 

and cooperation between China and 

South Korea.

韩国画家申东哲画展将于9月1日至9月15日在成都澄园书画艺术博物馆举办。此次画展旨在展现中韩两国文化的交流与融合，为观众带来一场视觉与心灵的双重享受，同时进一步推动中韩两国在文化艺术领域的交流与合作。

According to reports, SHIN, DONG-

CHUL was the first South Korean 

student enrolled at the Central 

Academy of Fine Arts after China 

and South Korea established 

diplomatic relations in 1992. His 

artistic career has forged an 

indissoluble bond with China. SHIN, 

DONG-CHUL is a student of 

Professor Jia Youfu, a well-known 

Chinese painter. He has intensively 

learned the essence of Chinese 

paintings and incorporated it into 

his works.

据悉，申东哲是1992年中韩建交后，中央美术学院招收的首个韩国留学生，其艺术生涯与中国结下了不解之缘。申东哲师从中国著名画家贾又福教授。他深入学习中国画的精髓，并将其融入自己的创作中。

The exhibition is guided by the 

Sichuan Provincial CPPCC Painting 

and Calligraphy Institute, the CPPCC 

Painting and Calligraphy Institute of 

Wenjiang District, Chengdu, and the 

Federation of Literary and Art 

Circles of Wenjiang District, 

Chengdu. It is sponsored by the 

Chengyuan Painting and Calligraphy

Art Museum and co-organized by 

the Korea Fine Products Promotion 

Association and other organizations.

此次画展由四川省政协书画研究院、成都市温江区政协书画研究院及成都市温江区文学艺术界联合会指导，由成都澄园书画艺术博物馆主办，韩国优良制品振兴协会四川省代表处等单位协办。
