South Korea Holds Exchange Exhibition of Youth Artworks from Overseas Sister Cities:Works of Five Wenjiang Teenagers Exhibited海外友城青少年美术作品交流展举行5名温江青少年作品韩国展出
Recently, the "Exchange Exhibition of
Youth Artworks from Overseas Sister
Cities" was held in Suseong District,
Daegu, a sister city of Wenjiang
District, Chengdu in South Korea.
Artworks of five students from
Wenjiang Shouan School were chosen
by the Foreign Affairs Office of
Wenjiang District and the Education
Bureau of Wenjiang District to represent
Wenjiang District in this international
sister city exhibition.
近日，韩国友城—大邱市寿城区“海外友城青少年美术作品交流展”举行。由区外事办、区教育局联合选送，寿安学校5名青少年作品代表温江区赴国际友城参展。

In recent years, sharing the resources
of sister cities, Wenjiang District has
prioritized multilateral cultural
exchanges among teenagers. These
interactions have allowed young people
to foster better understanding and
communication with peers from various
countries and regions.
近年来，温江立足友城资源，聚焦青少年多边文化交流，通过青少年对外交往发声，让更多国家和地区的朋友增进了解沟通。
In January this year, ten teenagers from
Wenjiang District received award
certificates at the 13th International
Youth Painting and Calligraphy
Exhibition of China-Japan-South Korea,
an event initiated by the Chinese
People's Association for Friendship with
Foreign Countries and co-hosted by
relevant friendly organizations and art
institutions in Japan and South Korea.
Notably, the organizing committee
selected five works to be exhibited in
Seoul. Additionally, two teenagers
earned first and second prizes in the
calligraphy category.
今年1月，10名温江区青少年收到了由中国人民对外友好协会发起，联合日本、韩国相关友好组织、艺术机构共同主办的“第13届中日韩青少年国际书画交流展”获奖证书，其中5名青少年作品经组委会筛选赴首尔市展出。2名青少年作品喜获书法类一、二等奖。

On May 24, the "2024 Wenjiang District
Sino-Foreign Youth Cultural Exchange
Month" kicked off. Nine schools in
Wenjiang District began carrying out
cultural exchanges and educational
cooperation with sister schools from
countries such as the United Kingdom,
Spain, and Singapore. A series of theme
activities such as Sino-European poetry
and painting, and the international
market will be launched one after
another.
5月24日，“2024温江区中外青少年文化交流月”开幕，9所区内学校将与英国、西班牙、新加坡等国家的友好学校开展文化交流和教育合作。中欧诗歌绘画、国际市集等一系列主题活动将陆续上线。

On June 1, the Works Exhibition for
Wenjiang International Sister Cities
Youth Creative Design Competition,
themed "Meeting at International
Horticultural Exhibition 2024 Chengdu,
Painting a Brilliant Green Land with the
World", took place at the Wenjiang Sub-
venue of the International Horticultural
Exhibition 2024 Chengdu. Teenagers
from six countries created vivid cartoon
images of horticultural plants with the
theme of "Me and My Plant Elves",
showing their profound understanding
of nature and ecology from an
adolescent perspective. Among them,
the Suseong District of Daegu selected
two teenage works to participate in the
competition and exhibited them.
6月1日，“域见世园会·与世界共绘烂漫绿意—温江国际友城青少年创意设计大赛作品展”在成都世园会温江分会场启动。6个国家的青少年以“我和我的植物精灵”为主题，手绘创作出惟妙惟肖的园艺植物卡通形象，以青少年的视角展示对自然和生态的深刻理解。其中，大邱市寿城区选送2名青少年作品参加了本次比赛并展出。
