To further strengthen the friendly 

relations between Wenjiang and the 

French city Autun and continue the 

long-term close exchanges between 

the two sides, at the invitation of 

the Foreign Affairs Office of the 

People's Government of Wenjiang 

District, a group of 13 teachers and 

students from the Lumina Coeli of 

Saint Lazare School in Autun 

visited Wenjiang from November 

23 to 25. During their three-day 

stay, they engaged in cultural 

exchange activities with the 

teenagers of Wenjiang.

为进一步巩固温江和法国欧坦市的友好关系，延续双方长期以来的密切交流，应区政府外事办公室邀请，法国欧坦市圣拉扎尔学校“天空之光童声合唱团”一行13名师生于11月23日至25日期间到访温江，与温江区青少年开展了为期3天的文化交流。

During the three-day visit, the choir 

visited Wenjiang District East Street 

Second Primary School, Wenjiang 

Experimental School of Chengdu, 

and Wenjiang Guanghua 

Experimental Primary School. 

They not only experienced 

traditional Chinese culture such as 

calligraphy and sugar painting but 

also had the opportunity to share 

music classes with their Chinese 

peers to enhance musical exchanges.

3天里，合唱团走进东大街第二小学、区实验学校和光华实验小学，体验交流书法、糖画等传统文化的同时，中法青少年还相互走进对方的音乐课堂，分享不同的声乐体验。

On the afternoon of November 24th, 

a joint chorus performance was held 

in a friendly atmosphere, where 

Chinese and French teachers and 

students together sang 10 classic 

songs of the two countries. As a 

special arrangement by the French 

teachers and students, the 

performance lineup of the French 

choir included a medley of Chinese 

folk songs, specifically "Jasmine 

Flower" and "Purple Bamboo Tune." 

In return, the Chinese teachers and 

students presented the classic 

French song "Vois Sur Ton Chemin" 

as a heartfelt gesture to their friends 

from France.

11月24日下午的合唱汇报演出上，在友好的交流氛围中，中法师生联袂演唱了10首中法经典歌曲。法方师生特意安排在表演曲目中串烧中国民歌《茉莉花》《紫竹调》，而中方师生也以一首法语歌曲《眺望你的路途》回赠来自法国的朋友。

Qin Yiyi, a sixth-grade student 

from Wenjiang District East Street 

Second Primary School, was one 

of the hosts of the performance."I 

love the choral performance of our 

French friends. Their voices are 

very lively." Qin Yiyi said after the 

performance.

东大街第二小学六年级学生秦伊漪是这次活动中的一名小主持人。“非常喜欢法国小朋友的合唱，她们的声音很灵动。”秦伊漪在活动后说道。

Liu Yuning, a second-grade student 

from Wenjiang Guanghua 

Experimental Primary School, 

played pipa in the event. Before her 

performance, her fluency in French 

caught everyone's attention. She 

expressed her fondness for the 

French language, mentioning that 

she had been learning French 

online for over a year and this 

event gave her just the opportunity 

to practice and communicate with 

others in a real-life setting. "I will 

be visiting the giant pandas with 

the French choir tomorrow. I will 

introduce them to the giant pandas 

and I hope to become friends with 

them."

光华实验小学二年级学生刘雨凝展示了琵琶表演。表演之前，她一口流利的法语引人注意。她说，她很喜欢法语，在网上报班学习了一年多，这次活动正好让她有了实践交流的机会。“明天我还会和他们一起去看大熊猫，我会给他们介绍大熊猫，希望和他们成为朋友。”

"I am very happy and honored to be 

here in Wenjiang. I have gained a 

lot here, not only an understanding 

of the Chinese traditional culture 

but also friendship," said Ava, a 

member of the choir. She mentioned 

that the calligraphy works and sugar 

paintings she saw on the campus left 

the deepest impression on her.

“很高兴也很荣幸能够来到温江，在这里收获了很多，不仅感受到了中国传统文化，还收获了友谊。”合唱团成员艾娃对在校园里所见的书法作品、糖画印象最深刻。

       

 

Lumina Coeli is one of the oldest 

children's choirs in Europe. Their

musical tradition has remained 

uninterrupted since the Middle Ages, 

and generation after generation, 

they have been singing ethereal 

melodies with clear and pure voices, 

using singing techniques that date 

back to the 7th century. In April 

2019, they already came to China 

once on a tour by invitation.

“天空之光童声合唱团”是一支欧洲最古老的童声合唱团。中世纪以来，他们的音乐传统从未间断，一代又一代的清澈童声以公元7世纪的演唱方法吟唱着天籁之音。2019年4月，他们曾应邀来华巡演。

It is worth noting that on November 

17, Wenjiang District and the 

French city of Autun signed a 

Memorandum of Understanding 

to establish friendly cooperation, 

agreeing to deepen their 

collaboration in the fields of 

education, culture, sports, and 

industry. Lumina Coeli was the 

first group of friends from Autun 

to visit Wenjiang after the 

establishment of the friendship 

between the two sides.

值得注意的是，11月17日，温江区、法国欧坦市签订《建立友好合作关系备忘录》，双方约定将在教育、文化、体育、产业等领域开展深入合作。而“天空之光童声合唱团”成为了双方结好后首次到访温江的友城朋友。

The successful organization of this 

cultural exchange event has had 

numerous positive outcomes. It 

effectively enhanced the 

international perspectives of the 

students and teachers from both 

sides, fostered cooperation in the 

field of education, and raised the 

level of international understanding 

of education. Additionally, it 

strengthened mutual understanding 

between Wenjiang and Autun, 

deepened their friendship, and laid 

a solid cultural foundation for 

people-to-people exchanges between 

the two places. This event has 

propelled the friendly relationship 

between the two places to new 

heights.

此次文化交流活动的成功举办，不仅有效增强了双方师生的国际视野，促进了两地在教育领域的合作，提升了国际理解教育水平。同时，还进一步加强了温江与欧坦市的相互了解，深化了两地的友谊，为两地民间交往筑牢了人文基础，推动双方友好关系再上新台阶。
