The Badminton Asia U17 & U15 

Junior Championships 2023, hosted 

by Badminton Asia, Chinese 

Badminton Association, and Sichuan 

Provincial Sports Bureau, organized 

by Chengdu Municipal Sports Bureau 

and Chengdu Wenjiang District 

People's Government, will take place 

from October 17 to October 22, 2023, 

at the Wenjiang Gymnasium in 

Chengdu. 

由亚洲羽毛球联合会、中国羽毛球协会、四川省体育局主办，成都市体育局、成都市温江区人民政府承办的2023年亚洲U17暨U15青少年羽毛球锦标赛将于2023年10月17日—22日，在成都市温江区体育馆举行。

The championships are divided into 

two age groups: U17 (16-17 years 

old) and U15 (14-15 years old). Five 

events will be featured, including 

men's singles, women's singles, men's 

doubles, women's doubles, and mixed 

doubles. A total of 352 young players 

from 13 countries and regions, 

including China, Japan, South Korea, 

India, Thailand, and Singapore, will 

gather at the Wenjiang Gymnasium 

to showcase their skills. 

本次锦标赛项目分U17（16—17岁）和U15（14—15岁）2个年龄组，设置男单、女单、男双、女双、混双5个项目，来自中国、日本、韩国、印度、泰国、新加坡等13个国家和地区代表队，共计352名青少年选手将在温江体育馆展开激烈的角逐。

As a highly regarded regular 

junior sports event in the region, the 

Badminton Asia Junior Championships 

hold great significance in discovering 

and training promising badminton 

athletes. It provides a platform for 

testing athletes from Asian countries 

and allows emerging badminton stars 

to shine. Excitingly, from 2023 to 

2026, the Badminton Asia U17 & U15 

Junior Championships will be hosted 

in Wenjiang for four consecutive 

years. This means that the citizens of 

Wenjiang will have the privilege of 

witnessing international junior 

badminton events taking place right 

on their doorstep. 

据悉，亚洲青少年羽毛球锦标赛是由亚洲羽毛球联合会组织的区域性国际高水平常规青少年赛事，承载着发现及锻炼优秀羽毛球后备力量的重要任务，是对亚洲各国羽球后备力量的大检阅，也是羽毛球新星的闪耀之地。2023年—2026年，亚洲U17暨U15青少年羽毛球锦标赛将连续4年落地温江，这意味着未来4年，温江市民在家门口就可以观看到国际性青少年羽毛球赛事。
