University Town Community, Yunxi 

Police Station, and other organizations, 

the Dragon Boat Festival theme activity 

"Express Chinese Culture to the World" 

was held at the Community Service 

Center for Expats in the University Town 

Community of Liucheng Sub-district 

recently.

近日，一场由区外事办、大学城社区、云溪派出所等单位联合举办的“中国文化，世界表达”端午节主题活动，在柳城街道大学城社区外籍人士社区服务中心举办。

During the activity, Chinese and foreign 

residents shared their respective cultural 

characteristics and festival customs. On 

the special occasion of the Dragon Boat 

Festival, they made Zongzi and wove

colorful rope bracelets together, giving 

them an opportunity to experience the 

cultural differences between different 

countries and creating a good atmosphere 

for cultural exchanges.

活动现场，中外居民相互分享各自国家的文化特色和节日习俗，在端午节来临之际，一起包粽子、编五彩绳，展现多元文化的碰撞，营造浓郁的的文化交流氛围。

In addition, community and district 

department workers introduced the Lei 

Feng Partner Project and anti-fraud 

knowledge to Chinese and foreign residents. 

Meanwhile, members were recruited on 

site to set up the "International Volunteer 

Service Team". This team, composed of 

foreign residents in the community, is 

jointly organized by Yunxi Police Station 

and the community. It will participate in 

volunteer services for the Chengdu 2021 

FISU Games and carry out publicity 

activities on relevant laws and regulations 

to create a good environment of "Love 

Chengdu, Embrace the Games, Be 

Civilized" and contribute to the successful 

holding of the Chengdu 2021 FISU Games.

此外，社区和区级部门工作人员向中外居民宣传了雷锋伙伴项目和反诈知识。现场征集并成立了“国际志愿服务队”小队——这支全部由社区外籍居民组成的队伍，由云溪派出所和大学城区共同组织，将参与大运志愿服务，并开展相关法律法规宣传活动，通过营造“爱成都，迎大运，做文明市民”的良好环境，助力大运会顺利举办。

Established in 2017, the University 

Town Community covers an area of 

1.93 square kilometers, has a 

permanent resident population of

about 11,600, and serves 139,000 

people (including more than 1,200 

expats from 106 countries). It is home 

to three universities and adjoins two 

ones, including the Southwestern 

University of Finance and Economics, 

Chengdu University of Traditional 

Chinese Medicine, and Sichuan 

Vocational and Technical College of 

Communications. Besides, there are 

three commercial residential 

communities, namely Haike Mingcheng, 

New Fashion World, and Jinqiang 

University Town. In 2019, the University 

Town Community established one of the 

first international community and 

expat community service centers in 

Chengdu City. In 2021, Sichuan 

Province's first expat visa and 

certificate affairs handling point and 

entry-exit service station in a 

community service center were 

officially set up in the University Town 

Community.

大学城社区成立于2017年，辖区面积1.93平方公里，常住人口约11600人，服务13.9万人（其中包括来自106个国家1200余名外籍人士），辖3毗2共有西南财经大学、成都中医大、四川交通职业技术学院等5所高校，海科名城、新尚天地、金强大学城3个商住小区。2019年，该社区创建成为成都市首批国际化社区和外籍人士社区服务中心。2021年，全省首个融入社区服务中心的外国人签证证件工作受理点和出入境服务站正式入驻。
