Foreign Affairs Office and the Integrated 

Media Center of Wenjiang District jointly 

went to the Sichuan Jinqiang Sport 

Training Base of National Basketball to visit 

the Myanmar national men's and women's 

volleyball teams that are in training here.

On November 23, 2022, 38 players and 

coaches of Myanmar National Volleyball 

Team arrived at Wenjiang to start a 

three-month intensive training.

Focusing on the technical characteristics 

of the national team members of Myanmar, 

Sichuan Sports Jinchuan Sports 

Development Co., Ltd employed Li Qiujiang, 

former head coach of Sichuan men's 

volleyball, and Gao Qi, former assistant 

coach of Sichuan women's volleyball, to 

provide technical guidance to the Myanmar 

national men's and women's volleyball 

players who came to China for training. 

"The two coaches, taking into account their 

skill level and shortcomings, not only 

developed a targeted training program but 

also high-level warm-up matches for their 

characteristics ", said Li Wenxuan, the 

project leader of Sichuan Sports Jinchuan 

Sports Development Co., Ltd.

针对缅甸国家队员的技术特点，四川川体金川体育发展有限公司聘请了前四川省男排主教练李秋江、前四川省女排助理教练郜麒分别对来华训练的缅甸国家男子、女子排球队员进行技术指导。“两位教练，根据他们的技术水平和问题，不仅制定了针对性的训练方案，同时还针对他们的特点安排了高水平的热身赛”，四川川体金川体育发展有限公司项目负责人李文轩说。

On the training ground, several male 

volleyball players, who were 2 meters tall, 

stood in front of the net and concentrated 

on receiving special training for offense and 

defense. "The players will have 6 hours of 

intensive training and 3 hours of free practice 

at the base every day," Li Wenxuan told

reporters. The base has provided good 

support in all aspects and has even taken 

into consideration the heights of the players

by making some of the beds extra long to 

ensure that the players have a good rest 

after training".
训练场上，几位身高达2米的男排运动员，驻守在球网前，集中精力接受进攻和防守的专项训练。李文轩告诉记者：“队员们每天将在基地进行6小时的集中训练和3小时的自由练习。基地做好了各方面的后勤保障，甚至考虑到了队员的身高特点，对部分床位进行了加长，保证队员训练后良好的休息”。

"After arriving at the base in Wenjiang, I found 

that the training ground is very close to where 

we live, and all kinds of equipment facilities 

are available," said HLWAN MOE, the coach 

of the Myanmar national team, "the team was 

trained by an experienced Chinese coach, and 

the players made progress individually and as 

a team. I hope that after the training, they can 

win a medal when they return home for the 

Southeast Asian Games".
缅方教练HLWAN MOE表示：“来到温江基地以后，发现训练场很近，各种器材设施很齐全，很方便。为队伍做培训的是一位中国教练，经验丰富，队员个人和团队都取得了进步。希望集训结束后，回国参加东南亚运动会时，能收获一枚奖牌”。

The players are also perceiving the city in 

various ways, both during and after the 

training.
训练内外，队员们也在通过各种方式感知着这座城市。

"We will do our best to provide a diet that 

the players like and has the flavor of 

Wenjiang. We will combine the dishes 

according to their eating habits with the 

characteristics of Sichuan cuisine," Li 

Wenxuan said.
“我们会根据队员们的饮食习惯，结合川菜特色进行菜品的融合，尽量提供队员们喜欢、又有温江味道的饮食”，李文轩介绍。

During the training, the Myanmar National 

Volleyball Team not only conducted 

matches with volleyball teams from Sichuan, 

Zhejiang and Henan but also will go to some 

schools to conduct volleyball exchanges.
训练期间，缅甸国家排球队不仅与四川、浙江、河南等地的排球队伍举行了交流比赛，也将走进部分学校开展排球交流活动。

During the break, with the help of Sichuan 

Sports Jinchuan Sports Development Co., 

Ltd, the team members visited the Chengdu 

Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, 

Wenjiang Jinqiang International Sports 

Events Center and other places to learn 

about local culture and development. In 

addition, at the invitation of the Foreign

Affairs Office and the Culture, Sports and 

Tourism Bureau of Wenjiang District, some 

representatives of the team will participate 

in the "Jiang'an Night Running" event to be

held on the evening of February 5 to 

experience the traditional Chinese 

festival--the Lantern Festival together 

with Chinese and international citizens of 

Wenjiang.
休息期间，队员们在四川川体金川体育发展有限公司的组织下，参访了成都大熊猫繁殖基地、温江金强国际赛事中心等地点，了解着当地文化和发展。此外，在温江区外事办、区文体旅局的邀请下，部分队员代表将与温江中外市民一起，参与到2月5日晚举办的“江安夜跑”活动中，共同感受中国的传统节日--元宵节。

Sports Jinchuan Sports Development Co., 

Ltd has undertaken the training of the 

Myanmar National Volleyball Team in 

China. From October 2021 to February

sports cooperation and exchange project 

with Myanmar and won unanimous praise

China and Myanmar.
