As Li Bai, a great poet of the Tang

Dynasty (618–907 AD) described,

"Long ago, Can Cong and Yu Fu

founded the kingdom of Shu."

Yu Fu established the kingdom in

today's Wenjiang. Amidst the

changes in the long river of

history for more than 4,000 years,

every river and every corner here

have represented the changes

and development of this land.

Keeping abreast with the times,

modern Wenjiang is innovative,

open, and eco-friendly, and it is

devoting every effort to creating

a prosperous life for all its

residents by thriving the

primary, secondary, and

tertiary industries together.

To date, foreign nationals

from nearly 100 countries

have settled in Wenjiang. They

study, work, or reside

here while sharing and

witnessing the fast-changing

development of this district

from their unique perspectives.
